We’ve always believed it’s important to be honest and balanced when writing these reviews. And that holds true even when it’s our listing. And I think what I love the most about this house is that it doesn’t feel like every single other smaller ranch home in Orange. A lot of that is inherent to the design — the unique little courtyard between home and the garage and the so-cool-why-aren’t-they-all-like-this rounded fascia board trim. But a lot of it is in the things that the current sellers (we sold them the house, too) have done. When they came in, this home was the opportunity of their lifetime — a way to get into the neighborhood they really wanted (bikable to Old Towne, but none of the noise and parking issues) at a price they could afford. And I still feel like the home is that way today. The house two doors down, the same model, is in escrow around $750,000 ($50,000 more than our list price). It’s not perfect, and sometimes quirky and funky also means a little weird. This home is, technically, “1.5 baths” — but I don’t feel like that’s an accurate description. It’s really two full bathrooms — that just happen to share a double-sided tub / shower. The current owners thought it was a little weird and they told me they were going to reconfigure the bathroom as their first project. But then something funny happened — the bathroom configuration actually worked out pretty well and they never got around to it. So here’s the chance to get a home that’s very noticeably bigger than the typical 1200 square foot homes in one of Orange’s premier neighborhoods. And it’s got some character and fun, too.
This one is our listing. And no one knows more about it than us. So reach out and get the personal tour.

HOUSES HAVE FEELINGS, TOO! Have you ever walked into a house where you could tell things weren’t...exactly going great? Now think of the total opposite..the kind of home where the good vibes and love are present in every room. Make that your reality and stop in and see 795 N Lincoln St. It’s the kind of house that feels just-right from the minute you open the door. Every room has been touched in this home. And it’s the details, the little things, that make the difference between a soul-sucking “flippy-flop” house and a place that looks and feels like home. Beautiful new floors, white oak hand-oiled countertops, and Morroccan backsplash provide some real personality. One bedroom showcases a full wall of custom built-in bookcases — what will you use to stock the shelves of your personal library? With over 1400 square feet, this home has an extra large dining room — perfect for all kinds of gatherings and a bonus space in the living room. In addition to the usual front yard and private backyard — you’ll find yourself spending mornings, evenings, and lots of “when I feel like its” out on the private courtyard. Shielded on 3 sides, it’s an outdoor respite and garden — just for you. And if you feel the need to venture farther, the Old Towne Plaza is just a short bike ride away.
