It’s Quick Take — why hasn’t it sold? edition! I thought it might be interesting to take a cool house that’s been on the market over 30 days. This is a home that’s been on the market about 2 months. It’s located in Orange, but it’s really close to the border of North Tustin — not a bad location at all. We don’t know for sure, but I believe the builder is the same as a group of super-cool homes in Morrison Park (we sold this one last year) — some of the design details are too similar. It’s an amazing U-shape design with most of its original fixtures and fittings. A GREAT foundation for an amazing home. Sensitive renovation is the name of the game here. And therein lies the problem. This is a big house — bigger than most in the immediate area and it comes down to economics. The right, sensitive work won’t be cheap and you’ll end up being one of the most expensive homes in the neighborhood. Our target price: High $600s.
