ModSneakPeak of the Week!

Sneak Preview! (Not on the MLS yet)

April 26th, 2013

DSC05958We have a SUPER DUPER AWESOME (okay, maybe too much coffee this morning) home coming up in the next few weeks but we wanted to give you a sneak peak. If you have any interest, let us know ASAP as this home will undoubtedly get a lot of interest once it hits the MLS.

I think you could wait a year and not see a home in this price range with these features and attention to detail. Too often, I’m on my soapbox talking about how a cool house has been remuddled and what it would take to “bring it back.” This home is exactly the opposite. It’s an example of the kind of what I think many homes could be with the right upgrades and owners. Rarely do we find homes like this, in this price range.

DSC05966I think my favorite part of this home is the atrium. Not only is the atrium big, but the sellers have masterfully landscaped it into a beautiful, usable, outdoor dining area. Most of their meals are taken al fresco. Additionally, every area of this home has been touched. Kitchen — remodeled. Bathrooms — remodeled. The landscaping is superlative as well. The front features drought-tolerant plants in lieu of grass, there is a private home working garden with fruit trees. The side yard is a private lounge with built-in firepit.

This home is good-sized, nearly 1600 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It’s on a gargantuan (for Orange County) 10,000 square foot lot. The final price hasn’t been set, but we expect it to be in and around $500k.  In real estate we often tell our clients that new homes come all the time — not like this. If you have even been thinking of buying, this is a home you absolutely must see.
