LIFE DOESN’T SUCK. This community has long been among my list of “hidden gems.” Most of the units in this community (which really sits right on the border of Dana Point and Laguna Niguel) are attached — but a select few are not and they tend to have amazing views. This one is no exception. I’ve also always loved the 1960s modern-Spanish vibe. These homes have lots of glass, floor-to-ceiling windows, and amazing **** **** ceilings. Oh wait, that’s my one major beef with this renovation. These homes were built with glorious, tongue-and-groove open beam ceilings. The ceilings are still open-ish — but it looks like they drywalled the tongue groove and exposed rough-sewn beams. WHY!?@#$!@#?@ The good news, I think it’s correctable and it’s the one the thing that could help address the slightly anesthetized feel of the remodel. This is good one and it’s a rare one. Sadly, the $900k is the auction starting bid — this one will likely go over $1M.
