Golden West College Presents The Nutcracker Ballet on December 12th – 24th, 2014
The Nutcracker Ballet is here for the 38th consecutive year, presented by the Ballet Repertory Theatre and performed at Golden West College. The show is Orange County’s longest-running Nutcracker and features close to 300 performers. Bring the whole family and experience the joy of The Nutcracker.

Marriot Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa Breakfast with Santa on December 14th, 2014
An all-inclusive breakfast with Santa awaits you and your family from 8am to 11am at the Marriot Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa in Dana Point. For just $35 per adult and $15 per child ages 6-12, participants will receive an all-inclusive breakfast, arts and crafts activities, cookie decorating, face painting and, of course, a photo opportunity with Santa. Reservations are required so be sure to call ahead.
The 106th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade on December 17th – 21st, 2014
A favorite Orange County tradition, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade returns for the 106th year, with the theme “Deck the Hulls with Bows of Jolly”. The annual event attracts an astounding one million plus onlookers each year. The first-ever Grand Marshals for the event, Leslie Mann and Mark McGrath, will appear in the parade on opening night, Wednesday, December 17th. Beautiful yachts, boats, kayaks and canoes will be adorned with lights, some playing music, as they slip through about 14 miles of water around the harbor. The parade starts at 6:30pm off of Bay Island and finishes at about 9pm. Relax at a restaurant along the route or bring your family to one of the many designated viewing locations. Make your reservations well ahead of time to ensure you get a seat for everyone in your party.
Santa visits Kidseum at Bowers Museum on December 21st, 2014
Bring the kids to Bowers Museum and snap a photo of them atop Santa’s lap. There won’t be a photographer so bring your own camera. Santa’s visit will take place from 3pm to 4pm at Kidseum, a child-oriented educational extension of the museum offering art and cultural programs for both children and families. Entry is $6 per person but free for members and children under 2 years old.
